Finally getting to some more hunting stand/shelter negatives I made this winter and spring. There are several on the property behind the farmhouse we're renting and I spent much time with them before the leaves came this year.
Part of a slow going, long term project I started in 2008.
Hi Shawn, I've been looking at this print and I really like it for it's lack of 'obviousness'. Who would think of taking such a shot? I like the 3 stages of wood - trees, logs and planed, finished timber and the abstract composition. Good one.
Thank you both. =) Tony, that is much of what I saw in it, plus, a certain sense of light and what it's like sitting quietly and waiting in this place. I also liked the stark, almost opposite difference between the top and bottom halves. Thanks again.
