This is an interesting pose, but for me there are a couple of things which work against the image as a whole. I would prefer a tighter crop, but then you are faced with the surroundings, somewhat busy. The depth of field brings into focus the branches at her back and the dried plants above her legs. This takes me into the logs which are behind her. All in all, I like the use of light, the pose and the model, but the setting and background tends to pull me out of the shot, not bring me in. tim

I agree with noseoil. I love the pose, the model, and hell, I love the scene, but a tighter cropping would cut down a bit on the business of the scene.

Also, I might have shot the pose from a slightly different angle, putting the log on a diagonal in the frame to help draw the eye towards the model.

Nice dreamy quality. Something that stuck out to me is the branch on the tree in the background that looks like a hand reaching out for the model's face. Kinda creepy.

Like I said, I like the soft focus, but there's a lot of dead space on the top. The pose is good. Perhaps by printing it differently you could keep some of the distracting elements toned down?

Thanks for sharing,

- Thom
