If you hadn't said "rotting banana slice" I would never have guessed what was photographed. Somewhat resembles a face, or at least one could read it that way, which makes it very creepy indeed. However, it is really about the light, which is quite nicely captured

Thank you guys for the positive comments. The banana slice project all started thanks to a pet rabbit that someone dumped in our neighborhood. I was trying to coax the rabbit inside with banana slices. It didn't work but I did notice some interesting "faces" appear on the ignored slices. As far as the lighting goes, trial and error....mostly error....but every once in a while it hits!
