Hicks-_-Old-Fulton

I shot 4 negs from 2 locatons, one in the middle of a traffic triangle indicated by zebra stripes with cars whizing by but most importantly 3 police cars passed during the shoot and not one shooed me off or even showed any concern. Perhaps we are becoming less concerned with people photographing our bridges.

I notice some light fall off in the upper sky from the bridge towers to the left edge of the image. Did you burn in the sky to the right of the towers or is this just due to the normal discrepency of the depth of color in the sky at that time of day?

Nice image.

There's a late Edward Weston shot from right around there. I've been meaning to revisit it sometime with the 8x10" camera.

Hi Bruce,

I like the photograph. I also like the fact that people ignored you photographing the bridge. So far I have been more than a little apprehensive about photographing bridges due to all the "security" concerns. I never understood this since anyone with not-so-good intentions can always use one of those cell phone cameras that are so ubiquitous. I have stuck to photographing small unknown bridges on local roads. Maybe I will take your experience as a good sign of encouragement?!

Thank you for sharing this.

Hi Bruce, love this little slice of NY.
