68'super stock dodge dart taken at englishtown raceway about 1984 . to think it came from a dealer for about $5.000 .00 dollars ,and today it is priceless.
they just shut down the racetrack this summer for good.i understand it is a car auction yard.

Was at Englishtown once in the 80s. Was there to watch a motocross race before I got into cars. Must have been running top alcohol or fuel cars because I remember being able to feel the exhaust sound waves even 100s of yards away.

Used to be some good magazines published in the NYC/NJ area that had lots of photos from Englishtown. Lots of street racing and Mopars too. Serious dudes.
