Head On

I like the RAF museum photos as a nice distraction from the usual fine art and landscape subjects here on APUG...

Maybe a bit "bolder" approach to photographing these planes would have made it even more interesting, like your photo of the English Electric Lightning. Of course, the composition of that one was already helped by the fact that the plane seems to have been put straight up for the display, if I am right. But a similar approach to framing these planes (low position, close-up, wide angle) might help.
