Despite recent debate on APUG, this rare and fleeting shot of the Caped Crusader, in action on the Oregon Coastline, complete with "help us Batman" searchlight, proves that indeed, Eric Rose IS the real Batman!
Although lacking his external "Fruit-of-the-Loom" briefs, any of us who were earlier "doubting Thomases" indeed owe this half of the Dynamic Duo a profound apology.
Will Eric, er... the "real" Batman ever forgive us?
GREAT CAPTURE!!! WOW!! This is a brilliant photograph! It's almost 3-D looking! I am giving this 5 thumbs up. The composition is great, the colours are amazing and the lighting is the best I have ever seen. A great photograph with a classic and timeless feel to it. Nothing else to critique on such a fine execution, exposure, detail and the energy of super hero powers are all there. PHENOMINAL CAPTURE!
Poor Wayne, here he is trying so hard to be a serous LF photographer and he has to team up with me for a trip to the dunes and Coos Bay. Since Wayne is directly decended from a camel this shot is probably due to my lack of food and water, thus sending me into a state of delirium. I of course would never goof around like this normally LOL.
I guess I will have to shine the Bat lamp into the sky tonight to put out the call. Stay tuned to this Bat Gallery for up coming photos of BatGirl and Catwomen. I will leave it up to Robin to do his own thing. I understand he is out in the wilds of the Canadian Rockies this weekend with a civilian.
"...this shot is probably due to my lack of food and water..." Ah yes, the 'cover' story to keep his "Eric Rose - mild mannered LF photographer" identity secret.
Interestingly, a short time later, our Superhero was rousted while sitting in the Batmobile (with out-of-state plates) by an Oregon State Trooper. In discharging his duties protecting the Pacific coastline from assorted villains, I assume that Trooper Bob just didn't see the Bat-beacon in this shot a short time earlier.
What are you doing clowning around in the sand? We need you here in Gotham City.
The Joker has put some print called a 'Jshiklee' in a gallery and is asking $600 for it, Mr Ross is about to order another crane for his latest Ebay purchase, and there's been a fellow called Orthello in town muggin zonies by private message.
We need your help Batman.
~ Commissioner Gordon.
I have to disagree with Sean. Parts of this photo look almost analogue... YUCK! I think you need a lot more Photoshop in this one, maybe two or three days in front of the computer will yield a usable shot.
