This is so very nice. I think one of the biggest challenges of photography is taking everyday, simple things and translating them to an image in an extraordinary manner and you've done that very successfully here. Very Nice!!!
Ralph, your funny..... There aren't any cans in the photo! But I will tell you that my Grandma Hazel is a very unique woman, indeed. If you'd like to see more photos of her place, you can on my website at: www.becksphotography.50megs.com I wanted to capture her place before she moved. She is now living in an assisted living home. She likes it there but I miss going to her "humble home".
Your grandmother looks like an interesting lady, Becky. I enjoyed the tour of her place on your site. Reminded me a lot of my grandmother's home - of which I have pictures only in my mind. Please tell Hazel we all said, "Hi" when you see her next.
Thank you Ralph. I have a funny thing to share... When I was taking photos of her kitchen I had to hurry..... she about hit me with a broom, trying to keep me from photographing her sink. Then, later, after I sold a print of her sink, I told her about it and she about fell over laughing. She had to call all of her friends and share the story with them.
