We are very lucky to have a great camera repair place in town, here. Apparently the fellow has a LARGE stockpile of camera parts, since the big manufacturers (I'm looking at YOU, Nikon and Canon) don't give out parts or make newer cameras serviceable by anybody but their own overpriced, lousy service outlets.
