Haunted Farm Land

I was out shooting these hay bales and minding my own business. No double exposures, nothing to explain... no scientific explanation. The only thing I did when was accidentally touch the emulsion before the negatives were completely dry which would have left a smudge. However, I've never seen a smudge that looked so distinctly *human*. This is creepy! Do you have any ideas? Do you believe in ghosts?

As for the grain - I think I blew the developing - the temperature was just too hot and the rodinal didn't help. I haven't printed it yet so I can't say whether I like it or not.... but that face!

Very strange! And I misread 'Erie County' for 'Eerie County'.. and really no explanations? I think you'd be brave to print it. Even though I don't believe any of the stories of capturing ghosts on camera etc! (there again....)

I have an idea, only I think I should wait and have some fun with it. I think I actually may have double exposed and forgot. I think I shot a frame and then took it out of the camera and forgot and then went to use the film. I think I like the ghost story better though.

The ghost story is awesome! And for the grain - it looks really nice. Delta3200 has a great character, and it's fantastic in Rodinal. If it was me, I'd try to duplicate that grain.
Anyway, I like this photograph quite a bit. More 2x exposures, please! Or you could sandwich negs...

The grain I think came from using 1:25 for about 8 1/4 minutes (73 degree chemicals & 78 degree tap water for the final wash). It only works some of the time with the right composition, but I think I like it better at 6400 and 68 degrees. I think it's dumb luck. Thanks, though...
