Some B&W results from a trip to Thorndon Park North, Brentwood with some members of Brentwood Photographic Club. The E6 slide film will follow later. I used my 2002 bought Hasselblad 501CM and all were taken with the 80mm f2.8 CFE Planar T*. The Close-ups were with the small extension tube. I processed the Ilford Delta 100 pro film in home-made ID11 formula 1+1 for 11mins
Gorgeous, Pete. I'm still fairly new to a 'blad & haven't figured out how to use flash w/ it yet. I wanted to try MF for the rich depth of tone & texture you show well here. I'm surprised when my humble 35mm approximates such a shot, but certainly wouldn't withstand any significant enlargement. The use of extension tubes remains in my future also. Your shots are inspiring.
Thanks Folks !! Yes , a Venerable Old Bloke took it ! Well, it took me at least 40 years before I took the plunge and got a Hasselblad, using my 'Lump Sum' from the British Government with my Retirement Pension. I did a few Weddings with it before all the work was 'Digital Fakery' for weddings and just about got my money back on basic camera + 80 mm lens but NOT the other lenses ( Don't tell the Wife !! )
Nice work and more to come I am sure.... just keep at it.... your and the 'blad will never lead you astray and together you will produce some stunning work... pursue it with vigor and a full heart and the return will be more than worth it..... Logan
