Just noticed this one... the colour really smacks you in the face..... great shot. Are those pumpkins really huge or is Georgia a Leprechaun?

Hi Tony, thanks for the kind comment. Georgia is the state this was taken in (shot of my wife, Alice, who isn't vertically challenged) and yes, the pumpkins really are pretty large. I shot this from a low angle with a 28mm lens to push the perspective a bit and it worked out well enough.

The scan doesn't do the print justice (same terrible scanner I use for B&W, a real P.O.digital S.) and the print doesn't do the slide justice.

Interesting shot.
Here in the UK the lack of summer has resulted in the pumpkins not ripening.
