Harbour Pinhole 2

This one worked! 120 film in 8x10 holder.
Scotch tape seemed to stick more to me than the film, so this was held down by little sticky labels. Had to use quite a few. Sticking just the ends had the film coming loose. You can see where the labels were. Any suggestions on better ways to stick curly film to metal, in the dark?

Yes, this is wonderful! Since it is pinhole and the focal length is not critical, you might make a little sleeve to hold the film out of stiff black construction paper. Just a strip with the edges tightly folded over to hold the edges and ends of the film. You might need to reinforce the folds with tape to make them stiff enough. Then double sided tape to hold the back of the paper to the 8x10 holder. I do something similar to this to put slightly cut 4x5 film into my old 122-format folders and it works just fine, but I have to pay attention to the shift in focal length to focus. Pinhole doesn't have that complication.

Hmmm, that's a good idea Ned. I'll loose the edge markings, which I kinda like. But trying to get the curly film to lie down so I can stick it has been challenging. I'll give a sleeve a try.

Hey, I like this! How about just an oversized sheet of thin glass taped down over the film? With the emulsion side in contact with the glass no ANR treatment may even be required.

How about double sided framing tape/adhesive?You might need to "de-tack" the side sticking to the film so that it's not too aggressive, but you can apply it in the light. Then it would just be a matter sticking the film onto it in the dark.Great photo!

Ken, I don't see how the dark slide could go over a piece of glass.BDial, you're a genius! Double-stick tape put down with the lights on! It was wrestling with sticky tape and curly film in the dark that proved frustrating. I've got double stick around here somewhere, so I'll give that a try.
