Hanging Rock

This gum print was made with two gum layers of red and yellow respectively, over top of cyanotype. Two negatives were required. One for the cyanotype, and another for the two gum layers. I started experimenting back in June. Harder than I thought, but a lot of fun!

Near Savona, British Columbia.

Canham Light Weight. 4x5 reducing back.

Lovely spot - turquoise Thompson River flowing towards Lytton. Wish I had seen that hanging rock when I took my photographs
 
My old neck of the woods! I can't tell you how many times I went past Savona but I can tell you how many times I stopped there: 0. Funny how it's hard to "see" what's in your own backyard. This prints looks great, would love to see it (and so much more of your work) in person.
