hands

The irony is: this is why I don't shoot as much now-darkroom had to get packed away to make room for her.

Not a bad trade, I suppose.

Beautiful moment, there's "room" for a nice serie now! I like the composition too with the dark background.

The whole image was a little odd to shoot: Izzi was a week old and asleep in her moms lap. I threw a black cloth over moms shoulder, focused and then let the Kid grab my hand in her sleep. Due to her arms being so short (duh), I couldn't keep her shoulder (behind my fingers) out of the shot.

We shot a second one on her first birthday-but it lacks something that we've never been able to pin down. (I'll post it in the future and let everyone have a shot at it.) Second birthday in a few weeks will get us number 3. The big question is, will she still let me hold her hand in 10 years!

Thanks all.

Wonderful! I took an image like this of my son 15 years ago - said part was I did it with a 1/2 megapixel camera.
