looking through older images, and found this..

once up a time, there were a fantastic chemistry, made for silk colouring..

I by mistake dropped some of this on a photograph, and found it to be amazing if you want to handcolour your images.

it worked especially well (and easy) with plastic coated papers, but could also be used on fiberbased images..

interesting enough, if I started out very dark, I could lighten the image, using lighter colours (they replaced the underlying colours) or water..

I had a lot of fun, but the factory must have noticed my excitement, and they quickly stopped producing this colour...:(

(I still have some left though..)

I *like* the images created with this dye? - Coloring agent?! - There appears to be some sort of "solvent action" with the paper emulsion. I wonder if there is a substitute available..?
 
It's really neat! Minds me of the post impressionist paintings. I wonder what the dyes will do the longevity of the print? Too bad the maker doesn't wish to get into the photography business.
