YeeHaww Michael! I can't remember which of these were in your album previously, but these seem more crisp & deliver the awe that the scenery commands. 'So glad you brought them here. 'Don't have a fav yet, but will be revisiting each several times.
Thanks HiHo, I like each of them, for different reasons. if i had to walk away with just one, i would probably take the one from mirror lake. but i did the hiking up the john muir trail and those photos have more memorable meaning to me. The "up the shoulder" refers to the trail and i do like very much that image. It came out pretty sharp (it was in my face so to speak across the ravine) as it was done with the prime lens. The stream in woods was along the trail as well and was a nice quiet place with quiet light. In the scan, though was the typical blown out highlights of the snow. TMAX always had the rep for that, so maybe there actually is definition in snow on the negative.
