Statue of Frans Hals.

Frans Hals is one of the most important Dutch 17th century painters famous for his extremely lively (group-)portraits, and lived and worked in Haarlem. The Frans Hals museum, housing a nice collection of his painting an contemporary colleagues, is named after him.
