H Street

H Street, North East Washington DC. With loud shout out to @TheFlyingCamera for the exquisite and memorable day of observing and learning from a master. H Street is a terrific place to visit now, not as it was 40 years ago when i lived in the nearby suburbs. WOW! what a day.

love EVERYTHING about this photograph,
that shadow is perfect and those
weird lines radiating from that geometric stuff above ..
now that i have posted this comment, im going to stare at your photo some more !

Like the mysterious shadow and ambiguous lighting direction. Makes it feel like something might be floating overhead.

Thank you, both! I originally meant to take this as a "souvenir" photograph of my day in WDC along H Street, but that shadow made the taking of it imperative. And the radial design out of the manhole did look cool on the ground glass. I appreciate the comments.
