Whatever about your reservations regarding the composition, the picture does capture the vast emptiness of the cathedral.

Better of the two shots in my opinion. Simply because it shows more of the cathedral and does what TEX mentions.

as you said composition could be improved - upper side in particular - otherwise
very well done.
