Very nicely framed and I like the subdued color.
What a wonderful place to live.
You have a 1.3 second setting on your shutter or is it a slow 1 ?

Lovely composition and it looks like a toned B&W print.

Well thought out I think, it's very nice. Your buildings sure beat the vinyl siding we have around here My compliments on a great image

WOW - this is the first time I've looked at these comments. Thanks everyone.
The shutter speed was probably set by my scanner as this was my very first 4x5 shot from my Arca Swiss taken in 2006.

The ground glass wasn't secured, so after I made critical focus adjustments the gg fell out and hit the aluminium loupe that was around my neck and shattered I bent to pick up the glass and knocked the camera (the pan and tilt weren't locked down completely). I therefore had to re-adjust the camera without having a way to check the framing and focus!

I just slammed the film holder in, took the shot and packed up and walked into the house.

It was almost five weeks before I received another ground glass, so I had a new (to me) camera that I couldn't use - this after the very first shot!

It's a wonder that anything came out at all

Cheers,

Johnny
