Now this is what a river should look like. Great tonal scale. Like Gene said: " I didn't know you had a 7x17". When did you get that?

Gene and Bruce, check again....it's Ritter 7x11 (the smaller version of a 12x20 ratio wise)

Nice tonal range, but I would have printed it a touch darker, that's just my taste; and I don't have a feel for what is correct & looks nice in platinum printing.
How do you like Richard's new camera. He's quite an innovative and skilled craftsman. I met him at Fred Picker's workshop in 1984, and I keep up with him infrequently when I need repairs on my Zone VI stuff.
Keep up the great work and enjoy the new format.

LOL Gene, the problem I think is everyone thinks 7x17 when they see 7x11 - not a format you see everyday.

very nice . both shots area great and what is nice is the children can't be heard, but the eye sees tranquility.
