With apologies to Matt, this is what the river looked like just the right of where Matt made his shot. What you can't see (or more correctly hear) is the 200 school children that were just to the right of us. They arrived just as we had all the cameras set up...they were gone by noon, and the park was quite again.
Nice tonal range, but I would have printed it a touch darker, that's just my taste; and I don't have a feel for what is correct & looks nice in platinum printing.
How do you like Richard's new camera. He's quite an innovative and skilled craftsman. I met him at Fred Picker's workshop in 1984, and I keep up with him infrequently when I need repairs on my Zone VI stuff.
Keep up the great work and enjoy the new format.
