Tony, wonderful design, the light from the windows so nice, just terrific. This lighthouse seems very well cared for in the interior, bet it is great outside as well.
Goodness, Tony. 'Tongue-tied. Staircases are some times beautiful & so we see them alot. This has all the elements of beauty, but the execution makes it stand out amongst those shots. cough, cough, throat clearing ahem, and its ugh - tiny format. Insanely well done.
Thanks all.The lighthouse was completely renovated a few years back, and it is really a lovely place. HiHo, sorry about the tiny format, but it was a really tricky shot to get with the tripod sort of wedged against the railing.
I am not going to speak for HiHo, but for myself saying that the impetus between your waterfall Mt. Field and HiHo's work with his FE2, i have only just this past week put the first roll of film in a 35mm camera in 8 years. Incidentally, Mt. Field is one of 48 of the over 4k footers in the New Hampshire White Mountains in the US. I don't recall who Field was here. I have Whiteface, Passaconway, and Carrigan left to summit of the 48.
I was struck the same way, Michael - by Tony's waterfall, his staircase, and a Texan (Schroeder?) on LFF who did mf/lf, but now just dig. & 35. His 35 work, like Tony's would make anyone proud. 'Makes me want to wring every last detail out of the tiny bit of film.
Tony - I was being ironic - its outstanding & I dearly wish I could do likewise.
