Based on past discussions, most APUGers would be walking the street with a 60 or 55 lens. What made you choose to use the 180? I ask because I don't know that I've even used mine yet and you're getting some nice results. You did inspire me to use the 135 to shoot some friends at a party (not processed yet).

I just happened to take it out to try and found it suited me very well. I've got a 180 Sonnar for the Pentacon Six but it is so big it's not suitable for lugging about. As you know, one of the great things about the TLR is that the long lenses do not have a big heavy barrel.
It's the last lens I bought, so these are the first photos I've taken with it.
Now that I've discovered it is a good length for me I can say it is because it allows me to isolate subjects either from their surroundings or for macros by using DOF, it offers a longer, less obtrusive working distance and it also allows me to concentrate on details. A wide angle wouldn't do those things. But those are conclusions I've reached as a result of trying it, they're not the reason that I did.
