I'm humbled by the sheer quality of this photograph. Your stamina in lugging all that heavy gear up on to the ruggedness that is the Great Wall impresses me, but I'm REALLY impressed by the absence of any people in shot! How did you do it? Getting clear shots in China, especially for the "trippy" bits, is distinctly non-trivial.
Thanks. This is one of my favorites from my recent trip. I noticed that many of my images had fewer (or no) people in them, which is not at all what I expected. The weather was gorgeous, it was late in the day, and most of the people up there were standing behind the camera hoping to look through it (which I found is a nice way to ingratiate myself with the non-English speaking locals). I guess an upside down image on a ground glass is a universal thrill.
