I hauled my Deardorff and new Vitax #4 petzval out to Great Falls, MD for a few landscape shots. I like the way the Vitax renders the landscape, but the lens is huge and tough to cart around. It was meant as a whole plate portrait lens and likely never left the studio, but it's interesting shooting landscapes with a 13.5" f/3.8 petzval. Also my first time shooting APHS ortho film and although I like the film, I still have to figure out how to develop for even tonality. You can see some uneven areas in the sky.
