Part of my ongoing Shenango River Lake project. One of two photographs I made in this place. I decided to revisit this and the second negative Wednesday night and pulled a much better print than I did in 2005. I am working on a BLOG post about this day and should have it up by end of day.
That's a beauty, Shawn. So much texture in the snow and those looooong shadows. Very delicate and graphic at the same time.
Funny, they spell Chenango differently in NYS.
And you can buy grain alcohol in PA but not NY.
The NY/PA border -Where worlds collide!
Thanks fellows! I've got another one from this place that is much less subtle. I'll post it soon.
Vic,
I know Shenango is an Indian word and the namesake of my township, valley, local river and lake. I'm not sure how the spelling came about. Grain alcohol is certainly an interesting beast, you drink it up all at once and then get looped over a short period of time... great for the drunk on the go! Thanks. Shawn
