Grass Land and Rocks

Another of the images I shot at Devil's Marbles last year. I particularly love the way the morning light highlights the tips of the spinifex grass. This really speaks to me of Outback Australia - there is no other place on earth quite like the outback.

I've tried few times to capture how the grass picks up the sunlight, but certainly never come as close as this. You're right, it's a true reflection of the outback, I'm really impressed. Makes me a bit homesick for the desert.

This is the best of the series.

Absolute silence, except for the sound of the wind through the trees, although this place is alongside the north road, and you will hear the traffic noise.

Mick.
