When you look at this level of detail and resolution at 35mm, you wonder why anyone bothers with anything bigger for this kind of shot. Even biggish ants would intrude here!
 
Nothing wrong with 35mm, but in my opinion the look of large format has more to do with sharpness, three-dimensionality, and tonal rendition than it does detail and resolution. It is my opinion that it has to do with local contrast. Large format has a more 'organic' look to it.

With that said, it's a nicely pulled off shot, although I would have loved some cleaner high values and more contrast. The composition is nice.
