Actually, Svend, my grandmother was very active on the farm, having been born and raised on one herself. She spent most of the time indoors, taking care of, cooking, and doing laundry for a family of five children, her husband, and great-grandpa Edvin, who would show up for supper every day. Besides that she took care of the chickens, the gardens, the sheep, and would help out at harvest time and planting time. I still remember mistakenly throwing rocks the wrong way when helping out picking potatoes in the fall, and grandma would yell at me when I screwed up... LOL
She's a country lady, but likes her 'fancy' clothes and is now a lady in her retired years.
