Grand National

The Grand National is the most popular horse race in the UK, with many large and difficult fences. It is the only race where non-betters have a flutter and there is always a housewives favourite. A circle of friends meet up each year in a bar for lunch, a few beers and to watch the race. Oh, and we lose money as well!

Hi, and thanks for looking.

CM stood for Creative Monochrome who later became Arem Publishing. They produced a mag called Mono and a yearbook called Best of Friends, but sadly are now out of business. This was their own brand Pyro and the best information I have is the last post in the thread below.

Beautiful. I love these shots, even though I detest these huge TV screens spoiling the atmosphere.... Don't get me wrong, I understand it's part of the image and the title. It happened to me as well so many times! Great great image.
