Gran Vía meets Alcalá Street

Hi! I shot some sheets in Madrid last weekend. It was my first urban stroll with the large format camera ;-)
This is a "panoramic" cut. As the Xpan is growing more and more expensive, I found this type of large format cutting very interesting and entertening ;-)

Very nice use of the 65mm lens. The weather conditions made wide angle photography a bit easier; very hard to see any fall-off on the edges. Centre filter?

Cutting, or cropping to a panoramic format is often very good for images like this city scape shot with very wide angle lenses. I often crop like this with my 90mm and 65mm lenses.

@Mick Fagan Hello, Mick! Thank you very much. It was a lightly cloudy morning in Madrid. No centre filter ;-)
I really love this cropping. Can you show me some of your cropped photos??
Thanks again.
Kind regards,
Antonio

I will, it will take a bit of time as I have to scan negatives, or take a picture with my phone of some prints, which are around 40cm wide.

Mick.
