Graffiti covered manhole cover

Spotted on my walk home. I found it fascinating that some person or persons took it upon themselves to decorate the manhole cover with graffiti. I also liked the interplay of the geometry of the concrete and the manhole cover with the organic disorder of the fallen leaves.

Love the colours you're achieving from the Fuji 400 film on all these - great series.

A fascinating find which is worthy of recording. I also like the interplay of the geometry of the the manhole cover with the disorder of the fallen leaves.

I'm very pleased with what I've been able to coax from sometimes a decade out of date color neg film. Even the Fuji 800 has held up reasonably well. Yes. This was a lucky find as a graphic element. It just pays to look around when you're out walking places - don't just look straight ahead. Up, down, sideways, and backwards are all equally good.
