Gothic Mtn 2011

My favorite mountain. From a trip a few weeks back.
I like the look of the Foma 111, very similar to Ilfords Warm Tone. I also experimented with different contrast filters more so this time. This particular print was printed with a #1.5 contrast filter which really softened up the image.
Thanks for looking,
Steve

Looks great, Steve! The natural tendency on many of these landscapes is to hit the contrast hard but you did the right thing here. The soft filter really gives the feeling of warm and delicate light on the upper portion and it's pleasing to the eye. You could burn the clouds more to add a little drama but this works either way. Beautiful.

Excellent Steve. I really like the slight softness and think it fits this perfectly. Good printing.

Best,
Jim

Excellent, Steve! It's great! And a nice companion to the other prints you've made there.

Steve, i like the richness of the tonality using the softer contrast filter. Nice!

Best,
Daniel
