great stuff! ... epoxy made it even more transparent than the PU?
( my first try fogged where it soaked through and touched the cardboard I had it taped to.... haven't tried again yet )

@NedL I have done over a dozen on baking paper, but havent had any of the emulsion soak though, all papers cant be the same?. Ive tried a few tracing papers that havent worked, cant seem to find any where that sell cotton tracing paper locally, but a local guy who is using the Dan Burkholder method says he uses ordinary Canson, so I will give that a go. Epoxy is too shinny, but would make an excellent final sealer over the back of the gold leaf. The whole process is very cheap so allows for a lot of experimenting.

@Andrew O'Neill Yes very fragile, once dry it is fine, although I cant fully iron out all the crinkles, need to work on the process a bit more.

@awty - I did have success once with a palladium print on Canson tracing paper. Don't know where that print is. Drawback, it was very wrinkled. I didn't try it, but I' heard somewhere it can be ironed.

@artonpaper it is a lot of hard work, the paper is a compromise of opaqueness, wrinklyness, something that wont tare apart during washing and something that will hold the emulsion. I have seen an example by a guy who followed the dan burkholder process to exhibit in a gallery show and it to was still a bit wrinkly. I think the Orotone process would be more impressive. Anyway, we must experiment and do new things to keep the brain rot from setting in.
