Interesting handling of a mundane subject. It shows you walk around and can find interesting things that others would walk right by. Not sure if this is finished but I'm not sure about the lightness of the foreground which gives me highlight, shadow, highlight on the way up. I'm guessing that's a choice you made. Foreground, middle ground, background. Maybe you can comment on your thinking there.
Thanks, Michael. Actually, the 'light' foreground is sand that's been shed from scores of tires as they leave the sandy parking lot by the water and go up the ramp to the highway.. As this is a scan, I didn't want to make significant changes as that would be PSing and not quite kosher. In an actual print, I'd burn the foreground down just enough for it to be a darker value than the clouds, but not as dark as the rest of the ramp. I'd also bleach the lightest part of the clouds a bit to really draw the eye there.
