Hi Guys,

Thanks for the compliment. This was one of those days that sunrise lighting didn't happen. I had been down to Balanced Rock and was disappointed. I drove around, and if I remember correctly, I took this rather aggressively cropped image was taken hand held from the Jeep (as I recall it was somewhat windy), with my Leica R7 and 70-210 zoom set near 210mm. I had tried several times in the past capturing Crepuscular rays or God Beams on slide film in Yellowstone with little success. They are very difficult to record on slides. I was lucky here in Arches, the image almost totally went to silhoute and approaches looking like a B&W.
