Gnu in dust cloud.

Gnu in dust cloud.

Trying some wildlife photography on b/w film. Not sure how well it works, but I am willing to keep at it. These gnu were restless because of an invisible leopard nearby, and were kicking up dust every time one of them flinched.

Good Afternoon, Dorff,Great shot! I like everything about it. Long lens? How far away from a restless gnu is safe?Konical

And so I have to ask: what's gnu? Sorry about that. Couldn't pass up the cheap shot.

If you knew what gnu knew, you'd be nervous too. Some of you will even know where I stole this.

Good shot, but isn't some of that dust from the film? or possibly because your lens was catching light from the sun accentuating the dust on your lens?

Hi Stone, those are flies. There are always a zillion or so flies around during the warm hours of the day.
