Gloucester Cathedral (Cloister)

Gloucester Cathedral (Cloister)

My wife and I finally got away for a nice vacation in England. Only had room to carry 35mm gear, which was initially saddening. But once I got into it, I found the spontanious style of shooting to be alot of fun.
I have no idea who these people are, but thought their position interesting.
Equipment Used
Leica M6 /21mm color-skopar
Film & Developer
Tri-X @1600 in Diafine
Paper & Developer
Forte Fortezo Grade 4/Dektol
Of your last two uploads, I prefer this one. A classic image with hard contrast - we all hope TriX is available the next decades..

I agree with your comment about the couple. It's as much about them as the cathedral. Take them away and I'd want to see more details in the shadows and highlights.

On the print, there is more detail in the couple. Just enough to create a story, or to raise questions. What are they talking about? and what is their relationship.
If they weren't there, I likely wouldn't have bothered to print this!
Thank you for your comments.
