You need to do a tandem ride. I did one before Covid and, despite my near-paralyzing acrophobia, it didn't scare me one bit to walk off that cliff. Flying a couple miles north and south along the beach, even hovering less than 50 ft over a golfer's head in perfect silence, was wonderful.
Oh that sounds horrible to me lol. I am the type where if stairs dont have railings to hold on to while going down, I am shaking and near paralyzed already. A ferris wheel is too much, forgot about walking off a cliff. I need to close my eyes for the whole ordeal probably.
Make my wing rigid, and I'm in. I've flown a simple delta hang glider (though my max altitude was just about "feet don't touch the ground"). I'd love to do it more, but there's a hazard of the foil collapsing with those parafoils.
