We move from a temperate to an artic environment in less that 1/2 a mile, approaching this glacier in Norway. The Birch trees shrink down, undergrowth disappears and rocks become more jagged.
it was a 150mm Apo Symmar. I used a couple of degrees of front tilt rather than close the lens down too much as I didn't want the water to smooth to a blur. I didn't record the details at the time as I was standing in the run-off water with a metal tripod that got colder by the minute.
