Girl in Rajasthan

A really wonderful portrait. The girl, the dried-up land and the cow in the back have lots of quiet emotion

I agree, great portrait of this girl with an excellent background and the cow is a nice counterbalance. The only thing that I feel may improve this is to darken the background area, maybe just the scan though.

textures, tones and subject matter all excellent.. appears to be a sad story though.
