Europa Point lighthouse. A short distance over the water is Africa (Morocco). My camera hadn't been used in 7 months and the battery died. No meter, Sunny 16 and the mechanical 1/60th.
It's very handy that the OM4-Ti has the emergency mechanical 1/60s. I've used it many times before. The most exciting was up Mount Kenya above the snow line. The batteries were so cold they died but I still got some photos!
Thank you. It was clear blue sky but early evening. It was not so hot so I ventured out exploring. This would have been a dull picture at noon with blazing, flat light. At noon it would probably have been sunny f22
PS, The indistinct form in the haze on the horizon is the African coast (Atlas Mountains). On a really clear day they are quite easily seen from the gun batteries high up on the rock -they could fire all the way across the straights of Gibraltar (9.2 inch Mark X BL guns from 1901, last fired in 1976). I'd love to see those batteries fired again, they are in working order!
