Very high impact image. Stark, strong, powerful. Great composition with the sand 'waves' leading into the frame. Great foreground subject matter, and a 'what the ... is that?' in the background. Interesting, well thought out photograph. Very impressive.

What a nice dunes image. It looks like it should be from the desert someplace. Of all the dunes pictures I have taken I would love to have one like this.

Good image. Looks like the sky and far sand has been burned in a bit too heavy. I find that the darker sand and dark sky 'flattens" the image...that is, it brings the background closer making the image more two-dimensional. The foreground is much brighter than the background...adding to this. There is no "atmospheric distance" ... not that it is always necessary, but I think that it would have helped this image to have the ghost trees looming in the distance, rather than thrust forward visually.

I also think the square format of the image would be enhanced by balancing out the tonality of the sky, instead of having the right side lighter.
