Looking at your pictures I don't think you should have any problems with these rules.
In fact I try to break them from time to time. Today I even went to a store to buy a lightmeter to use with my new 4x5. But I stood for 10 minutes looking at lightmeters and then left. But I feel no guilt shooting digital.
Honestly, until recently I didn't think I could get back in shape and feel that freedom of being so spontaneous, skillless, shooting like an idiot and still hitting the target. I immigrated to Canada 7 years ago and found myself in a cultural desert (sorry, my new homeland). Recently I started to travel around the globe and felt blood in my veins again. These circumstainces are not reflected in my rules but they affect results very much.
