the picture/display looks very inviting... though, having lived for more than 2 years in Germany i don't recall "currywurst sauce."

( i was there before the wall came down, so maybe an eastern import?!!)
 
Indeed. (All the way from Mumbai!) A risky marketing strategy; practically begging people to say "That was the wurst curry I ever ate."

Apparently 800 million currywursts are eaten by Gemans in any given year. I didn't try it. I wasn't tempted. An eastern import? I travelled through East Germany in 1968....on my way to Poland.

I read you can buy the stuff in Scottish supermarkets. Fast food at the Links Market goes down a treat here.
