Geisha girl at this years Edinburgh fringe festival.
I hauled my pentax 6x7 and two lenses round the fringe for one day, got some looks when this monster of a SLR appeared.
Nice shot Charlie, I used to sell the Pentax 6X7 system in my shop, and remember thinking at the time that in addition to the wooden handled bolt on side grip Pentax, as part of their system, especially with the longer lenses aught to have added a truss !!
I have found the Pentax 67 to be large compared to my 35mm equipment but not that unweildy when used with the 105 and 150mm lenses.
The camera body is not that heavy (I use a Nikon F & F2) The lenses are. the longest lens I have is a 200mm, I was looking at some of the longer pentax 6X7 lenses and thinking one or two tripods would be required.
I shot some chromes in Edinburgh with the Pentax as well, that made all the effort worth it. One American photographer commented when I was loading a roll of film in a shady spot "Now that is what I call dedication"
Excellent exposure and framing. A classic film/developer combination. I have about 40 rolls of APX 100 left in 120 and one box of 4X5. There is something real nice about portraits with APX.
Thanks Garry & John for your comments.
Agfa APX100 is a fantastic film. I have been getting very good results with this film. I find Rodinal & Neofin Blue work well. I am down to 41 rolls of APX100 in 120 I think I will run it through the Pentax 67 and my Yashaca Matt 124. Fingers crossed the great film will be resurrected.
