me too, its a great shot , butttt , theres the but, if you just crop out the bottom foreground by about 1/2 to 2/3 it changes the whole look of this shot. it just seems a little too heavy on the bottom and distracts from the top a bit. again... great shot!! ...............frank

I just tried the crop as you suggested and to my eye it then doesn't have enough "weight" at the bottom for the amount of sky. Trimming the sky as well is an option. I'll have to chew on that for a while. Thanks for the suggestion.

Not the bottom, theres too much blue on top. Crop just above the dark cloud. That way the blue doesn't take over completely. And the red of the sunset becomes move active.

Yes. I think it just needed less of that great blue to allow the other elements to stand up.

i am sorry azlf, i have to retract what i said earlier. you will probably think i am nuts but it has been bothering me what i wrote. i think you as the artist and creator of this print should be the one who decides if it needs to be cropped or not , not me. if you are satisfied and happy with the original shot then it really doesnt matter what i think. so please accept my apology, it really is a beautiful shot.................keep shooting..............frank

No apology required Frank. I had not given this photo much thought one way or another and after looking at it for a while I think the suggestion to crop some sky is a good one. If I did not think so I would not have given it a try. I have pretty thick skin photographically speaking.
