Almost looks like a family outing or group portait even if they look a little dtiff and mechanical.

Yeah, Papa there in the lower left looks a little . . . well, bloated.

Nice tones, though.

Thanks guys, I get the same feeling from this photograph. Looks like it's own silly little otherworldly family. I just couldn't resist the straight on here they are approach. I felt the subject stood (bloated and all) on it's own in space. doc

Hi doc, this is an interesting and humorous image. Can you come back to this scene at a later time? I'm wondering if you might be able to do another kind of "portrait" of this "family" using light painting to accentuate the different personalities. Just a thought.

Thanks for your compliments and suggestions. This was shot on Christmas day as I had to stand in the driving lane at the local mall to make it. That's one of the few days there is nobody there. I stick to capturing light and form as I see them. I try to avoid grain, out of focus areas and stick to natural light for my photographs but thanks again for the kind words and for taking the time to comment on my work. doc
